dfest 2008 - announcement wednesday!!

so for those of you not familiar with the tulsa music scene, dfest (or diversafest) is an awesome music conference and festival showcasing local and national acts in downtown tulsa, oklahoma. last year’s lineup blew everyone away when they announced that local heroes the flaming lips and leon russell were headlining, and the fun didn’t stop there, other awesome acts like shiny toy guns, the feds, and steel train were on the bill - so you can imagine that there is much anticipation for this year’s lineup release! they plan to announce the lineup this wednesday (4/23), and tickets will go on sale thursday (4/24). keep your eyes and ears out for the announcement for one of the region’s best up-and-coming music conferences & festivals. the announcement will come with a whole new face-lift for their website too! so be sure to check that out…word on the street is that it’s the biggest and best yet!!
