rangers big win!

stephen and i went to our first ever rangers game last night! it was so much fun…while i’m an astros fan, i was glad to see the rangers actually win a game! plus, it was dollar dog night, and you can’t beat that!

it was so exciting, because we were able to see the big grand slam by josh hamilton!

woo hoo! high five!

equally exciting was the dot race. now, one major complaint about the beautiful ranger’s stadium: there’s no jumbo tron! what’s up with that?! so the dots that you’d usually see on the big screen actually raced on the field…

and usually there are three, however the red dot tripped upon exiting the gate and again mid-race. poor thing.

anyway, a most exciting game with the rangers beating the kansas city royals 11-5. let’s hope they can keep it up.

ps. have to say thank goodness the hot dogs were only $1 because beer was $7!! but, word to the wise, if you wait till you sit down, the beer guy comes around and those are only $6.25…plus they’re in those cool aluminum bottles and you don’t have to get up.

pps. mom, i only had two dogs, so i am not feeling the wrath today. (yay!)
