it’s official…
i’m going to chicago! for the first time ever i get to go to the amazing lollapalooza music festival in grant park, chicago (thanks mom!). so far it’s me, stephen and my brother jimi taking the trek to see some sights and sounds in the windy city - and that’s sure to be a riot…right?? the official lineup will be announced on april 7th but as of now, the rumors are wicked: radiohead, nin, bloc party, mgmt, spank rock, and john butler trio - just to name a few…my head is already spinning!!
also of note, this will be my first time to visit chicago - i’m so excited!! wait, i still have 4 months to go, better save some excitement for later. in the mean time, any thoughts on the lineup rumors? what about places to stay?

I can’t wait until you go to Chicago and get back to tell me how awesome it was. You’re gonna love it. I hope you guys put aside an extra day or two to actually see the city. I’ve been a couple times and had a blast. Me, Berly and Genny made the drive about 5 years ago to see DMB at the United Center a week before Christmas. Talk about an awesome time to be in Chicago. We stayed on Michigan Ave. Super amazing. Went down to Wrigleyville one night as well. It didn’t suck one bit.
