new kings!!!
so the kings of leon have been working on a new album “only by the night,” and while perusing the CoS site, i found out they just announced that it will be released in september. in the meantime, i found videos for two of the songs featured on the album!! the embed is disabled, so here are the links…

more weekend fun times…
like i told you all last week, there was a lot of stuff going on in dallas over the weekend! i managed to take in as much as i could…
record store day: was awesome. i made it up to good records just in time to hear LIONS play and buy some new cd’s (the kooks “konk” and MGMT’s self titled)
after watching the band for a bit, i made it up to house of dang for their little soirée and got some super cute new earrings…i have a pic somewhere, i’ll post it later.

weekend fun times
so i had the most relaxing weekend i’ve had in awhile… however, for me, it was pretty eventful and i thought i’d share.
saturday i took roxy to the bark park for the first time! while fun, i really wish that bulldog puppy would have not tried to mount my dog a million times - resulting in her being totally terrified and we left.
then i made a venture over to the dallas farmer’s market. wow, i don’t think i’ve ever witnessed anything like that! it was so much fun and i nearly bought out the place.

here is a very small sampling of delicious findings (and my fruit stand i finally get to use since i have counter space!)
sunday i did a little shopping for my best friend’s wedding shower (yes - to bed, bath, and beyond).
i went to lula b’s antiques to find some decorative plates. with no luck i moved on to good records … where i always find something i just have to have. i took these beauties home with me:

so after that, i settled in with roxy, listened to my records, read beautiful boy (which is awesome, by the way), and thus concluded my nice weekend.
